How to Measure
1. Do not assume you know the size.
2. Measure
3. Measure
4. If in doubt, order larger. Skating dresses are made of stretchy fabric and
are made to fit tight, with no wrinkles or extra "growing room." If
you want a looser fit, you should order 1 or even 2 sizes larger. 99% of all
exchanges are for a larger size .
5. Each manufacturer (MDS, GK Elite, Mondor) has their own size chart and they
are all different. Be sure to use the correct chart.
6. Especially for children, the girth is the most important measurement.

NOTE:
If you are unsure between sizes, order the next larger size.
HOW
TO MEASURE
- Chest
measurement: taken with a deep breath, arms held out at shoulder
height.
- Waist
measurement: taken at the natural waistline.
- Hip
measurement: taken around the fullest part of the buttocks.
- Girth (Torso)
measurement: taken from the center of the shoulder, down the
front, through the crotch, and up the back to the starting point.
This makes a complete loop around the torso.
- Inseam
Measurement: the length of the leg from the crotch to one inch
above the floor. Measure in stocking feet.
ERMINE SIZING
Note:
The Girth (Torso) measurement is the most important. Choose the size in which the majority of the measurements
fall.
